Program overview

The Latin word 'magis' is at the heart of the Ambassadors of Hope program. St. Ignatius of Loyola spoke of magis (literally "more") as striving to make full use of our gifts, talents, and abilities to become our best selves and serve the world.

Ambassadors of Hope invites former retreat participants serving as ISP volunteers to use their gifts, talents and abilities to advance the mission of ISP while strengthening their recovery and deepening their spiritual lives.

This 2-year integrated spiritual formation program aims to develop the next generation of ISP leaders. It is designed for men and women who have transformed their lives with the support of ISP and have a deep desire to "pay it forward" by helping others on the journey.

Through a range of retreats, workshops, and customized practicum experiences, Ambassadors of Hope will form Ambassadors to be leaders on the local and Network level. Each Ambassador will work closely with a Companion from their ISP team for the duration of the AOH program.
