Men and women interested in participating in the AOH program as Ambassadors must be nominated by their local ISP coordinator. Furthermore, prospective Ambassadors must be available to travel (as specified in the Program Calendar) and meet the eligibility requirements below.

Ambassadors are...

• Former retreat participants currently serving on a local ISP teams for at least one year
• Passionate about the mission and ministry of ISP
• Mature, reliable, and ready for leadership opportunities
• Actively working their recovery program and familiar with the 12 Steps
• 2+ years sobriety
• Interested in growing in Ignatian spirituality
• Comfortable sharing their story with a range of audiences
• Willing and able to travel at least 2 times per year to various U.S. locations
• Able to commit a minimum of 5 hours per month to formation and service with their Companion
• Easy to contact by phone, text, or email
