Goal 1.2: Interactive spreadsheet of AtLs updated using current curriculum, for all MYP grade levels and shared with teachers.
Goal 1.3: Initial data analysis discussed with HoDs and next steps determined.
Goal 2.3: Service as Action interviews conducted with all G10 students and included the requirement for activities and reflections to be logged on ManageBac.
March 2022
Goal 1.3: AtL data for all MYP taken from ManageBac and manipulated to be used for analysis.
Goal 2.2: Decision taken to integrate all SA information into the website so that there is one place for students to go for information.
Goal 2.4: SA Coordinator supporting Grade 6 Science teacher in developing new SA opportunity in curriculum. Students and teachers meeting weekly during a lunch time.
Goal 2.4: Alumni students presented to Grade 9 and 10 students on Alannah's Awesome Tournament (key ISP service project). PHE time used to support the project's integration with a PHE unit.
January 2022
Goal 2.4: All secondary staff took part in session on developing authentic learning (service) opportunities through curriculum. All departments developed at least one opportunity for a new connection. Survey sent out to collect ideas from the departments.
Goal 2.3: Trial of timeline approach to planning and reflection using 'checkpoint' sessions in advisory time planned and begun with G8 and G9.
November 2021
Goal 1.1: Tool for teachers to evaluate their AtL engagements developed and shared.
Goal 1.2: Work started on transforming the data on ManageBac into an interactive spreadsheet to be shared with all staff.
Goal 2.1: SA Coordinator constructed a folder of materials to be included in student website, including the expectations for each grade level.
Goal 2.3: SA Coordinator led workshops with G6, 7, and 10 during advisory time. Workshops are scheduled for G8 and 9.
Goal 2.4: SA Coordinator led a workshop on planning authentic learning experiences into curriculum, at the staff professional development day.
September 2021
Goal 1.1: AtLs were written into the curriculum at the end of the 2020-21 academic year.
Goal 1.1.: AtLs are currently being reviewed and updated across the school through collaborative times and curriculum development days.
