MEDICATION
School policy does not allow students to carry any medications (by prescription and/or over the counter) on their person during school hours. This includes medications in their backpacks or lockers. If medication is needed for your child during school hours please let us know at healthcoordinators@ismonaco.com and we will better direct you. Any medicine coming to school must be clearly labelled with the child’s name and prescribed dosage. No responsibility can be accepted if a dose is missed.
LUNCH, SNACK - NO NUT policy
Our Cafeteria menu is available on our main website : Weekly Menu.
All Primary Years students are provided with a snack at morning break. Homemade/external snacks are not allowed. We also remind you that ISM is a nut-free school. Please do not send your child to school with any tree nuts (almonds, brazil nuts, cashew nuts, hazelnuts, macadamia nuts, pecans, pine nuts, pistachios, walnuts) or peanuts listed as an ingredient item.
If you require to bring a particular food item to school, please first send an email with your request to our Executive Chef George Gavrias (george.gavrias@ismonaco.com) to confirm whether this food item is allowed at ISM. Outside food cannot be brought into school without prior confirmation from George.
We thank you in advance for always keeping in mind those with allergies and for your support in protecting the health and safety of our students and staff at ISM. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
BIRTHDAY TREATS
Birthdays in Primary School may be celebrated on D-day. If you do wish to order birthday cupcakes from school, kindly send the Birthday cake order form completed directly to our Executive Chef George Gavrias at george.gavrias@ismonaco.com.
You can still order cupcakes from outside of school but this must be validated by our Executive Chef, George Gavrias, ahead of time (48 hours minimum) by sending him a list of the ingredients.
Safety & Security
All visitors to the school must first register at the Main Reception before entering the school buildings. Parents are not permitted to be in the Primary Years School during lesson or break times unless they have a pre-arranged appointment.
A visitor’s badge will be given to each individual and must be returned to Main Reception on departure, when signing out.
See more from our Chief Security Officer on our main website: Practical Information / Security.
