12th Grade Required Courses
Required Courses:
English 12 (A/B) – 1.0 HS Credit
Note: College English: Academic Writing and Global Literature count as an equivalent to English 12; students must take both courses to meet this requirement.
Government (One semester) – 0.5 HS Credit
Economics (One semester) – 0.5 HS Credit
Math (One semester) – 0.5 HS Credit
Note: Students who have passed the 11th-grade Math MCA or have already taken two college math courses may be exempt from the senior math requirement.
Speech (One semester) – 0.5 HS Credit
Note: Students can choose between Speech 12 and College Speech.
Electives:
Students must enroll in a total of 7 courses per semester, including the required courses listed above and any additional electives.
Important to Know
College admission is contingent on completion of senior year
When students are admitted to a college, list the classes scheduled for senior year
Most colleges will expect students to contact them if senior-year classes are changed
Students are required to submit a FINAL high school transcript showing final grades and graduation date
