Description: Students will work through the basic principles of agricultural business and agricultural marketing. Students will work on rebranding an. agricultural business. Students will then develop their own business, creating a complete business plan for the business. This includes an executive summary, an organizational plan, a financial plan, a marketing plan, and an appendix.

Intro to Agriculture introduces students to the basics of the agriculture industry, including plant and animal systems, natural resources, and food production. Students gain a general understanding of agricultural careers and explore the role agriculture plays in Minnesota and beyond. The course also introduces foundational skills in leadership, communication, and career exploration within the agricultural field.

Description: Students will learn and refine their skills in SMAW (Arc), MIG, and Oxy welding. Students will practice running beads and joint welding on each of the welding processes. Students will then create an assigned project. NOTE: Levels 2 and 3 are for those students who have passed level 1 and have an individual project to work on.

Description: This course introduces students to woodworking and carpentry, emphasis is placed on basic material processes. Students will learn about safety, proper tool and machine usage, tool identification, finishing, and plan reading. All students will need to pass safety tests before they are allowed to work in the shop. Students will be making cutting boards, game boards, and shelves or stools before they can make small individual projects.
