Below you will find a list of outside support resources for counselors and/or counseling centers in the area that have come recommended by either families or students of New Prague Middle School. This is not a complete or exhaustive list, and NPMS does not specifically endorse any of the resources listed.
Parents and/or Guardians can contact their health insurance provider and ask for a "Mental Health Provider" list, to become familiar with which providers are covered under their insurance. When selecting a service provider, as with other types of resources, ask specific questions about services offered, and trust your judgment about whether or not to work with a provider. The Lorenz Clinics have 4 area locations in Victoria, Chaska, Prior Lake, Rosemount, and soon Wayzata, that offer a multidisciplinary staff that includes child specialists, couples counselors, and adult therapists. They are also able to serve all of Minnesota via telehealth and provide interpretation services upon request .

In-Home Therapy
Our In-Home Services include individual therapy, family therapy, and skills training for children ages 0-21, in which a clinician comes into the home to provide care. Clinicians work closely with caregivers to improve their ability to support their child or teen in a way that promotes improved functioning at home, school, and in the community. Clinicians can help families practice prosocial behaviors and positive coping skills that can work to replace maladaptive behaviors.
Outpatient Therapy: In-Clinic or Telehealth
We offer individual and family therapy, often in weekly or biweekly sessions, for all ages. We work to foster a therapeutic relationship with a child or family founded on trust and approachability. Outpatient therapy is available in-clinic at any of our four locations or via telehealth.
Medication Management
While primary care providers may treat some mental health conditions, our experienced psychiatric nurse practitioners can provide evaluations and expert consultation on psychiatric medications to treat many mental health conditions. This service is available for clients ages 6+ and is offered in-clinic at Rosemount and Chaska, or via telehealth.

Martin and Moore Psychologists provides assessment and treatment of adolescents and adults. Barbara Moore, PHD has a special expertise in treating depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, chemical dependency, eating disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, grief issues, adoption issues. Kathryn Moore provides assessment and treatment of preschoolers, children, and adolescents. Special expertise in assessing Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Anxiety disorders, depression, behavioral problems, school refusal, trauma and adjustment to situational stressors.
