Below you will find a variety of community based resources with links to assist in your families needs to access food and other necessities. These resources cover all of the counties located within the New Prague Area Schools district!
CAP Agency Food Shelf Scott County
CAP Agency Food Shelf provides immediate food and resources to individuals and families to bridge them through difficult times and help them reach self-sufficiency. Their food shelf utilizes a consumer choice model – you select the food that best suits your needs. A 5 – 7 day supply of food is provided, once within a calendar month. We also provide our food shelf customers connections to additional resources they may need.

Three locations that offers food to those that may need it:
In Blaine at Hope Church, 1264 109th Ave NE, Blaine every Thursday from 2:30- 5:00 p.m.
In Elko/New Market at Wagner Park 98 Todd Street, ENM every 3rd Wednesday of the month from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
In Anoka (Students Only) at Anoka Technical College 1355 W. HWY 10, Anoka every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 11:00 a.m - 1:00 pm. and 3:00-6:00 p.m

Loaves and Fishes offers a free evening meal at the Church of St. Mark, 350 South Atwood Street, Shakopee, MN 55379 from 5:30 – 6:30pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. For more information, call 612-377-9810.
Lonsdale Area Food Shelf operates Thursdays 12:30-5:30 pm, walk-ins are welcome. They are located at 130 Delaware Street SE Lonsdale.

Ruby's Pantry is located at Glendale United Methodist Church, 13550 Glendale Rd Savage MN 55378 on the 3rd Monday of the Month. Doors open at 4:00 pm with distribution from 4:30-6:00 pm.
Second Harvest Heartland sponsors a free food give away the second Thursday of every month at Friendship Church, 17741 Fairlawn Ave, Prior Lake, MN 55372 from 5:30-7:30 pm. For more information, call 952-447-8282.
