I am happy to be a part of the New Prague Trojan school community where all students are welcomed, valued and supported to grow and thrive as learners.
I look forward to meeting you over the course of the year and we encourage all students and families to be active in our school. I am excited to learn about our students' areas of interest, support their needs and celebrate success throughout the year!

The 2025-2026 is Tom's 32nd year in education. Prior to coming to New Prague, he taught English at East Central High School in Sandstone, Minnesota. He has been at NPHS for 21 years. He was a member of the NPHS English department prior to moving into administration and has been a varsity baseball coach for 32 years. He is also the PA Announcer for the Trojans.
I am starting my 21st year on staff at NPHS, my 10th year as Assistant Principal at New Prague High School, and my 32nd year in education. My day-to-day role at NPHS is student-centered in a variety of areas. Attendance, student assistance, student behaviors, and monitoring building protocols for safety, buildings and grounds, and working with our staff are my main focus. In addition, working with parents and our communities is also a very important part of my job duties. I will be the point person for students in grades 10 and 12 this year.
I look forward to the beginning of each year as it offers a chance to start fresh with new students and families. NPHS is a great place to be, and we are driven to provide the best possible learning opportunities for all students in our communities. Go Trojans!
Julie has been an educator for 18 years. This is her 2nd year serving as an administrator. Prior to this role, Julie taught Spanish for 16 years at both New Prague High School and Faribault High School.
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! I look forward to continuing to serve the students and families of New Prague High School in the role of Assistant Principal. I am grounded in the belief that all students can achieve excellence and my role as an administrator is to assist them on their journey. My primary focus this school year will be communicating with students, families, and staff as well as providing support in the areas of attendance, behavior and achievement. I will be working primarily with students in grades 10 & 12.
I am excited for the beginning of the school year and welcoming both returning and new students to our building. NPHS offers many wonderful programs and activities for your student to explore. I encourage you to reach out to discuss these opportunities or to discuss any questions you may have. Go Trojans!
