If you need access to a student you support who is not already on your caseload:
Click on “Students”
Click on “Find/Request Student” at the top of the page
Type in the student name (full name not required) and click “Next”
Click “request” to the right of the student’s name and the current case manager will receive a notification requesting that they share the student with you.
To share a student with a team member requesting access:
Open the student record that is being requested.
Click on the “Sharing/Transfer” button at the top of the page.
Use the dropdown menu on the left to find the user requesting access (all users are under “Teacher”) and select “Share” to the right of their name.
Their name will now be in the right column, “Users with access to this student.” The default is non-editing access. If you want to give them the ability to edit the student you must check the “Edit” box after their name.
To transfer case managers for a student:
Open the student record.
Click on the “Sharing/Transfer” button at the top of the page.
Select "Send this student to a new Case Manager" toward the bottom of the page.
Enter the first and last name of the new case manager.
Select "send" and the new case manager will have access.
Once you send the file to the new case manager your access will be terminated. Make sure you have finalized open documents that you are working on.
