Help the student determine what their goal is. If they want to be a professional baseball player, would the student agree they want to work in a job realted to sports.
Don’t say: One year after graduation, STUDENT will…
Don’t use qualifiers including “may go”, “or”, “wants to”, “is considering”
Don't keep the same goal each year (add detail as student ages)
Don't say the student will attend Transition Plus, as this is not after graduation
Don’t use the word “or” (the student will live in a home or rent an apartment)- Work with the student to pick one.
