Instructions for Authors

1. Scope of Contributions

Vall Salina e-Journal accepts original research articles related to the anthropology of salt, including archaeology, history, geography, geology, and related disciplines.

2. Language

Manuscripts must be written in English.

3. Length of Articles

• Articles: 1,000 – 12,000 words

• Abstract: 90–150 words

• Keywords: 5

4. Manuscript Structure

The manuscript should include:

• Title

• Author(s) and affiliation

• Abstract

• Keywords

• Main text

• References

5. Figures, Tables and Images

• Maximum of 10 images

• Resolution: minimum 300 dpi

• Formats: .jpg, .png, .tiff

• All images must include caption and authorship

• Archaeological materials must include graphic scale

6. References and Citation Style

The journal uses the Harvard-Elsevier citation style. Authors are encouraged to use reference managers such as Zotero or Mendeley.

7. Submission Process

8. Author Identification

Authors are required to provide their ORCID identifier.

9. Publication Fees

Vall Salina e-Journal does not charge any submission or publication fees.
