Vall Salina e-Journal is an open-access digital scientific journal published by the IREC (Institut de Recerca envers la Cultura) in Cardona. The journal is devoted to the study of the anthropology of salt, encompassing disciplines such as archaeology, anthropology, history, geography, prehistory, geology, and related fields.
The journal aims to disseminate high-quality research and promote interdisciplinary dialogue on the cultural, social, economic, and environmental dimensions of salt across different periods and regions. Each issue is structured around a thematic monographic section, complemented by research articles and a section dedicated to news and current developments in the field.
