High Frequency Words

Every child will participate in a High Frequency Belt Program at home. This daily activity reinforces the high frequency words that students learn during the school year. This is a highly motivating program for students. All words are divided into color coded leveled lists. As students master a list, they earn colored "belts" that coordinate with the level just completed. Once have mastered all of the first grade high frequency words and earned their "Black Belt", students no longer need to complete a High Frequency log at home.
