Homework

The Kindergarten day is long and trying on most kids therefore, I generally will not assign "Homework.. However, I will ask that you do the following at home each night:

-Go over your child's day with them have them try to draw a picture and tell you about their day

-Read with your child for 10-15 minutes each night. If you have older children that could assist, this would be great practice for them as well. Discuss the story at the beginning, middle and end. Have them make guesses as to what the story is about based on the title and if it is fiction or non-fiction.

-Have your child count-anything-toys in the bath, rocks, plates at the table, people in the house, etc....just have them count!
