Find an image to work from and identify your foreground, middle ground, and background of that image.
Get clay slab and sketch your image onto the slab with a needle tool.
The slab will serve as the background. Add on your middle ground imagery. The should only rise 1/8 in. off of the surface of the tile.
Add on your forground imagery. This should rise about 1/4 in off of the surface of the tile.
Details and depth. Use a variety of tools to add detail to your tile or smooth it out. Add some additional depth by carving into the initial tile slightly.
Scratch your name on the back of the tile with a needle tool. Place UNWRAPPED on the shelf in the kiln room labeled "Greenware"
Wait a week or so. Pick up your bisque-ware tile and glaze it.
