Rolled Paper Sculpture
Task List:
Create 20 paper tubes
Adhere tubes together to form a symmetrical or asymmetrically balanced sculpture
Sculpture must stand on its own.
After learning how to use an x-acto knife properly, put those skills to use! Create a final paper cut project of your choice. A pop-up card or a Notan design are great options.

Complete x-acto practice sheet
Lightly draw lines on black construction paper where you would like to cut
Cut a minimum of 40 shapes or lines to create your design.
Glue pieces down to mirror where they were cut from.

Complete Morph Drawing: Drawing of one creature, 1 Drawing of another creature, 1 drawing of a combination of both creatures.
Create armature(inside structure) for sculpture
Cover sculpture smoothly with very small pieces of masking tape
This project is all about learning to work with clay with a focus on slab rolling, clay connections, and related vocabulary. Your final deign will be a relief sculpture of the subject of your choice.
Parameters for Cardboard Sculpture:
Must tell a story about the past
Must be based off of a real life object
Must be constructed out of cardboard and adhesives. Adhesive should not be visible.
May not use paint, marker, crayon or anything similar to embellish.
Must be neatly constructed and stable
Must be constructed out of a minimum of 30 pieces of cardboard.
Must fit in THE BOX!
