Throughout the month you will be introduced to different types of ink, techniques, and artists. There is one prompt per day and how you interpret that prompt is up to you! Each drawing will only take you one class period and may be completed with any of the materials provided.

Start with the basics. Give Ball Point Pen a try. Any color ink will do!

Sharpie! Choose a single color of sharpie. Any color except black! Create today's drawing with that color.

Pattern! Think about how you can use pattern to "color" in the spaces in your drawing today! Google "Zentangle" for some interesting ones.

4 and 5

Sharpie and watercolor! Create a drawing with permanent sharpie and then use a light layer of watercolor to highlight different areas.

Hatching (lines that go the same direction and do not cross to create shadows). Incorporate the technique of hatching into your artwork today.

Cross hatching (lines that cross over each other to create shadows). Incorporate the technique of cross hatching into your artwork today.
