After studying a variety of masks you will create your own relief sculpture out of cardboard.
Task List:
Research mask designs and choose geometric shapes to complete your mask.
Use a minimum of 30 pieces of cardboard.
Cut shapes neatly and use a stencil when necessary.
Assemble mask neatly so that adhesives are not showing.
Task List:
Create a creature (cartoon, animal, human, mythical being) out of clay.
Use all of your clay
Attach all pieces of clay with the slip and score technique
Smooth out all seams where clay segments connect
Hollow out the clay if it is more that 1 inch thick
No long skinny pieces...they will break
Smooth out and add texture to final sculpture where necessary.
Learn the basics on one-point perspective drawing and add your own creative twist.

Create a radial design within the grid where each "pie" piece has the same design
Trace your design with black marker and erase pencil lines
Use gradients to shade in at least 3 different sections
