Do you want to have some fun?  Reading?? Get a team together and battle it out for the champion of Bluestem!  

You are invited to participate in Brooks LMC’s Battle of the Bluestems!  If you want to participate, you will team up with 1, 2, or 3 other students from your grade level (4 students max on a team) and answer questions about the Bluestem books. 

Check to see which books your teammates have read.  Compare that to what you have read.  If there are any books no one on your team has read, check out those books and read them.  Divide up the books on the list to make sure that someone on your team has read all 20 books on the Bluestem list.  Remember, the more books your team reads, the better prepared your team will be for the battle.

You and your teammates will answer questions about the books on the list. Your goal is to remember facts from each book.  The Battle is in a game-show format.  Comprehension questions will be asked and your answer is always which book and which author best answers the question.
