We will be inspired to create an alternative ending to our core text, "Starbird". During the learning journey, we will be using descriptive language and learning the difference between past and present tense.
Maths
This half term, we will be learning about measure. We will be ordering lengths, comparing volume and capacity, reading temperature and telling the time.
Science
We will belearning about Animals, including humans. during the half term, we will be exploring the lifecycle of animals which will lead us to analysing the stages of the human life.
History
We will be creating a peaceful protest by exploring and understanding the life and impact of the historical figure, Nelson Mandela.
Computing
We will be learning how to share information safely using the internet. We will be able to compose and send an email and edit text.
RE
This half term, we will be learning about Christianity, the holy Bible and why it is important to Christians and values taught in the faith.
PE
This half term, we will be developing our accuracy skills in a range of target games, including archery.
Design & Technology
We will be learning how to sew this half term and creating a large scale textile sculpture.
Music
We will be listening to and evaluating a range of music which will lead us to perform a song at the end of the half term.
RSHE
We will be learning how to keep safe in the community and the differece between friends and family.
