Mindfulness Matters
“Focus. Don’t worry about what everybody else is doing.” This is what I say to myself when I am doing mindfulness. It makes me calm and helps me have a good day.
Did you know there are many ways that mindfulness can help you? Mindfulness can help with self-control. When I go to my room and I put my headphones in, I calm down. When I am calm, I am able to focus and have more control. I am also able to make better decisions when I take time to do mindfulness. I am able to calm down and not argue with my brothers or be disrespectful to my family. I am so excited to move onto fifth grade. Mindfulness helped me turn my anger and my days around, so I could ignore others, focus on myself, and become more confident.
Mindfulness is a way to train your brain to focus on your emotions and your breathing. Mindfulness has been around for over 2,000 years, and it still helps people. Many people still use mindfulness today to help them with their emotions.
I like mindfulness because it helps people with their emotions and it calms them down. When I do mindfulness, it helps me have a good day. If I did not do mindfulness, I would probably have a bad day. When my friends are having bad days, I convince them to turn it around and do their work. Mindfulness in the mornings helps me have a good day and learn, so I can help my friends have a good day and learn.
