Time out is a benefit because you and your child can play board games instead of giving them a punishment. This helps develop relationships. Another benefit to playing board games is being unplugged. Games unplugged means not having electronics plugged in, which is a benefit because you can have more family time and fun. All these benefits can help your brain learn new things and help your family form better relationships by playing board games.

Board games are fun and entertaining. How you play board games is by following the rules. Each game is played differently. You would need paper and pencil if you're playing a game that requires that. Some games require building before starting. Sometimes you have to read and write while playing certain games. If you don’t have all the items you need for a board game, you can create your own.

The history of board games goes back a long time. It goes back to 5000 B.C. The very first board game was dice. They used to make dice out of stones and rocks. Back then they didn’t have color games. All they had was grey, black, and white. They also didn’t have a lot of different games. Some of the first board games were Monopoly, Chess, and Mancala. Headbands, Trouble, and Pie Face have more colors and more fun than you would ever need.

There are many people in the world, some are beginners and some are experts at board games. The beginners play games like Uno, Candy Land, and Chutes and Ladders. The experts play games like Pokemon, card games, Monopoly, and Chess.

Board games make me happy, but competitive. They are super fun, and you can learn at the same time. More people should play board games. Any one that does not have a board game can make their own. Put down the iPad, grab that box, and start playing your board games today! Batteries not included!
