Don't Forget to Ground Yourself in Nature!
I feel the warm breeze against my face, I see the leaves blowing around. In quarantine when my family and I argue, I go outside. I feel the breeze on my face, and I quickly feel calm. Being outside in nature makes me feel happy!
There are many benefits to being outside in nature. Everyone who chooses to take time and go outside can feel happier, heal faster, and reduce their stress. People can go outside and experience nature. They can feel restored, refreshed, and reset their mind. People who go outside in nature also heal faster from spinal surgery and have less pain. Stress can make your heart rate higher, being outside can lower your heart rate and reduce your stress. Being outside can make you happy, but it can also make you feel calm.
There are many activities outside you could do. I like to play outside games, like playing on my trampoline with my brother, playing with my dog, and playing in the grass. Hunting and camping are other fun things I do outside. I also like to clean up the yard and ride my bike outside. I even help the community and its surroundings by cleaning up other yards.
In conclusion, being in nature makes me feel strong and relaxed because I feel I become more grounded, and it allows for me to control my emotions and be with others. Nature is a great way to release negative energy and take in positive. Just try walking in the grass barefoot, or standing by a bonfire. Dig your toes into the sand and sift through the waters. Nature is here to nurture us, as long as we nurture it as well.
