Work Package 4:
Creating impact
The aim is to ensure that new research results and high-level knowledge regarding the design, construction, operation and maintenance of digital bridges used to realise impedance scales are transferred to all interested parties, including developing NMIs/DIs both within and outside the consortium as well as to calibration centres, and instrument manufacturers.
We will provide targeted training to all relevant beneficiaries both inside and outside the consortium. The training programme will include workshops and secondment of staff. Often only a small number of stakeholders can attend project meetings and workshops because the travelling costs are beyond the means of most small developing NMIs/DIs and private enterprises. To address this problem and to ensure that practical training is widely available, the virtual training laboratory, developed in Task 2.2 will be used. This will serve to increase the impact of project outcomes by knowledge transfer and the dissemination of measurement good practices, while saving on travelling expenses.
