Trescal in Denmark is the Danish Designated Institute for AC eletrical quantities and part of a worldwide company specialising in tests and calibration. Trescal have been involved in iMERA-Plus and EMRP research projects since 2008 including the AIM QuTE project. As a result of involvement in AIM QuTE, Trescal have been developing a sampling based impedance bridge based on AC resistors. During the VersICaL project Trescal will build, improve and characterise the bridge components in order to be able to offer an improved calibration service to its customers. Trescal will lead Work Package 4 and will host secondees interested in sampling based impedance bridges.
