Hi Preschool Families!
My name is Sara Dlugolinski and I am so excited to be a part of the Preschool Team here at Independence Primary School.
I attended Bowling Green State University where I recieved my Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education. This allows be to be certified to teach Preschool through 3rd grade. I received my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the American College of Education. I have 14 years of teaching experience in Kissimmee, Florida in preschool, kindergarten, first and third grade.
My husband, Jacob and I have 2 children. Lily is a 7th grader at IMS and Harrison is a 2nd grader at IPS. After volunteering at IPS, I knew that it would be an amazing place to work. I became a substitute 2 years ago, and this school year is my first year as a classroom teacher at IPS.
I strive to develop a relationship with each child and family as I feel like positive relationships lead to success at school. Each child is unique and I want them to know that I am here to support them in all areas.
This year your child will grow and learn in many different ways. As I plan lessons and activities I will take into consideration where your child is and meet them where they are. We will grow mentally, physically and emotionally. This is an exciting time for sure.
Please keep in contact with me through DOJO, email or phone calls. I consider us a team and want open lines of communication. Thank you for entrusting me with your child.
