Creative Curriculum

Welcome to the Creative Curriculum!

The Independence Preschool used the The Creative Curriculum for Preschool. This comprehensive, research-based curriculum features exploration and discovery as a way of learning. This curriculum is based on five fundamental principles: Positive interactions and relationships with adults provide critical foundation for successful learning; social-emotional competence is a significant factor in school success; constructive, purposeful play supports essential learning; the physical environment affects the type and quality of learning interactions; teacher-family partnerships promote development and learning.

Using exploration and discovery as a way of learning, The Creative Curriculum enables children to develop confidence, creativity, and lifelong critical thinking skills.
