The Geophysical Society (GS) is a non-profitable society volunteered by the researchers and students, and advised by the faculty members of the Department of Applied Geophysics, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad, Jharkhand-826004, India.
The Geophysical Society along with IGU, SPG, SEG, EAGE, AEG student chapters of IIT(ISM) Dhanbad have been inspiring the students and researchers by conducting various academic and technical events throughout the year.
