Torre dei Lamberti
La sua costruzione iniziò nel 1172 per volontà della famiglia dei Lamberti, il suo stile è di tipo romanico, in mattoni alternati a tufo, visibili nella parte bassa dell'edificio.
Le due campane Rengo e Maragona furono costruite nel 1295.
Nel 1403 ci fu un crollo, causato da un fulmine.
Nel 1448 iniziarono i lavori di restauro ed elevazione che terminarono nel 1463, la torre si alzò a 84 metri.
Nel 1768 il conte Sagramoso aggiunse l’orologio a sue spese per sostituire il vecchio.
Con i suoi 84 metri di altezza è l'edificio più alto di Verona.
Per arrivare alle terrazze panoramiche e al campanile, i visitatori possono utilizzare le scale, 368 gradini, o prendere l’ascensore che permette di ammirare le bellezze architettoniche del monumento.
CURIOSITÀ
Il campanile della Torre dei Lamberti ospita quattro campane:
IL RENGO: Il Rengo suonava per chiamare il consiglio comunale e le armi in caso di emergenza.
LA MARANGONE: La più piccola, la Marangona, avvisava in caso di pericolo di incendio e definiva le ore del giorno regolando così la vita della città.
LA CAMPANA DELLE ORE E LA RABBIOSA: Verso la fine del '700 furono aggiunte la campana delle ore e la Rabbiosa, che dominano la terrazza panoramica.
Sa construction a commencé en 1172 par le vouloir de la noble et mystérieuse famille Lamberti, dont nous ne possédons pas d’informations précises. Le style roman, typique de cette époque fut choisi pour sa construction, en briques alternées au tuf, encore visibles dans la partie basse de la construction.
En 1172, la Torre dei Lamberti a été construite par la noble famille véronaise Lamberti.
Les deux cloches Rengo et Maragona ont été construites en 1295.
En 1403 il y a un effondrement, il a été endommagé par la foudre.
En 1448, les travaux de restauration et d'élévation commencèrent et se terminèrent en 1463. La tour s'éleva à 84 mètres.
En 1768, le comte Sagramoso a ajouté l'horloge à ses frais pour remplacer l'ancienne.
Aujourd’hui, avec ses 84 mètres de hauteur, et avec les nombreuses modifications architecturales dont elle a fait l’objet au cours de ses plus de huit cent ans d’histoire, c’est l’édifice le plus haut de Vérone.
Pour accéder aux terrasses panoramiques et au beffroi, les visiteurs peuvent choisir d'utiliser les escaliers qui longent le périmètre interne vertical (368 marches) ou d'emprunter l'ascenseur confortable et transparent qui permet d'admirer à pied les beautés architecturales typiques du monument.
DES CURIOSITÉS
Le beffroi de la Torre dei Lamberti abrite quatre cloches:
LE RENGO: Le Rengo sonnait pour appeler le conseil municipal et les armes en cas d'urgence.
LA MARANGONA: La plus petite, la Marangona, prévenait en cas de danger d'incendie et défini les heures de la journée réglant ainsi la vie de la cité.
LA CLOCHE DES HEURES ET LA RABBIOSA: Vers la fin du XVIIIe siècle furent ajoutées la cloche des heures et la Rabbiosa, qui dominent la terrasse panoramique.
Its construction began in 1172 thanks to the Lamberti family. Its style is Romanesque and you can see bricks alternated with tuff especially in the lower part of the building.

Between 1448 and 1463 the building was restored and elevated to make it become 84 meters high, which makes it the highest building in Verona.
To get to the panoramic terraces and the bell tower, visitors can use the stairs, 368 steps, or take the lift which allows them to admire the architectural beauties of the monument and the city from above.
CURIOSITY
The bell tower of the Torre dei Lamberti houses four bells:
RENGO: Rengo sounded to call the city council and the guns in an emergency.
MARANGONA: The smallest one , which warned in case of fire and stroke the hours of the day, and as a consequence it regulated the life of the city.
THE BELL OF THE HOURS AND THE RABBIOSA: Towards the end of the 18th century, the hour bell and the Rabbiosa were added. The latter dominates the panoramic terrace.
