PhD Students
PhD is a "Doctorate in Philosophy" degree... Interestingly, the degree is not about engineering at all. So, while there is always a problem statement to develop and work on, the journey of a PhD student is what qualifies one for a degree.
It's a commitment that should be made only when one is open to become a new person. A different version of oneself. Probably un-identifiable from where one is at the present moment.
As a mentor, its a privilege to be able to guide someone through this journey. If you are keen, do write in. And as for the problem statement, my students work on a range of topics from {Safe/ Secure/ Low Power/ Energy Efficient} Circuit and System Design to Test and Testability. A glimpse of topics is visible in the titles of projects on the M.Tech students' page.
