The International Society for Technology in Education. This site provides standards for students and educators for using technology in the classroom. This site also has a blog which gives concrete ways to implement the standards in classroom activities. Hosts large EdTech conferences nationally throughout the year.
The homepage for Illinois Computing Educators, a local affiliate of ISTE (see above). Check out this site for ways to connect with other local educators utilizing tech in their classroom. Similar to ISTE, they also host an annual local conference and have a large presence at ISTE conferences, as well.
The official Google for Education site for training resources, featuring everything from basic product training to tiered certification programs for becoming a "Google Certified Educator." A huge storehouse of materials on all Google for Education products.
Apple training resources and starter guides for teachers on how to use native apps for the iPad. Similar to Google, they also offer Apple Distinguished Educator certifications for those who want to take their skills to the next level.
Prefer Microsoft products? Microsoft has probably the most robust training database and community of any of the three tech giants. They offer basic training on their useful products (you need to try OneNote!) as well as a certification program, allowing you get "credentials" in a seemingly endless number of different apps and tech-teaching skills.
EdTechTeacher houses many resources for using technology in education, including apps by subject area, tutorials, and lesson ideas. This site really excels in providing awesome video/screencast tutorials. Check out their YouTube channel!
Founded by the George Lucas Educational Foundation, this website features a large database of articles and research on a variety of cutting edge pedagogical topics. Linked here, their section on "Technology Integration," is packed with articles on edtech teaching.

An exceptional YouTube channel hosted by an ed-tech coordinator for the New Hampshire Public Schools system. Contains fantastic screencast tutorials on pretty much every widely used classroom app.
One of the great things about tech-teaching is the new classroom approaches you can explore. The Buck Institute for Education is a forerunner in one of these methods: project-based learning. This site contains resources on project-based learning with videos and a blog.
While this organization focuses on what they call "disruptive innovation" in many areas of society, one of their chief focuses is the future of K-12 education. One of their specialties is resources and research on the blended learning model, which personalizes the education model by using technology.
