Photoshop Sketch by Adobe is a great option for creating great art on the iPad. You can use a variety of powerful tools to create great sktetchs, drawings, collages, and other images. Add other images and text to your drawing to make it even more impactful. Very simple and easy to learn, great for having students depict scenes from a book, sketch out geometrical figures, or document the results of a lab.

Adobe Spark is an integrated suite of storytelling applications for the mobile and web comprising of three separate design apps: Spark Page, Spark Post, and Spark Video. Use these apps invdidually or in combination to create exciting and fun multimedia projects on any class topic. Spark Page allows students to create mini multimedia web pages. Spark Video can be used to create videos where they can manipulate still images, add music and voice over. Spark Post is awesome for creating "meme" style images with integrated text and clip art.

Made by Apple, Clips is an iPad app that can be used to make short videos with music, text, images, stickers, filters, and graphics. As opposed to iMovie, Clips is best for creating short, "social media" style videos more akin to Instagram or Snap Chat. Add effects, images, gifs, text and lots of other fun things to your videos. This app is great for short student responses or having students present a modern interpretation of a person/character/event from history.
