Learning how to land a spacecraft is not an easy task. There are many things to think about as you plan to land on the moon, Mars, or even returning astronauts to Earth. What type of surface are you landing on? How much gravity will you be working with? How will you slow down your lander before landing? How will you keep the astronauts safe?
There are two activities to choose from this week. Choose which one is best for you based on the type of materials you have at your house. Start with a design, make a prototype, and test it out. Then decide what worked or didn't work and make changes. Have fun!

*I would recommend using hard boiled eggs. Or better yet, a plastic Easter egg would work...just fill it with something making it similar to the weight of a regular egg.
