Now that you know how to hit a target landing zone, it's time to start thinking about where our astronauts will stay when they get to the moon. The video on the left shows us what the surface of the moon looks like. How and where will we build our lunar village?

This video gives some great information about things we will need in order to live on the moon. As you watch, start thinking about what you want your lunar village to look like.

Time to grab your art supplies. This could be markers, crayons, and colored pencils. It could also include legos, building blocks, K'nex, or items collected around your house. Design a building (or buildings) for our astronauts to live in when they get to the moon. Think about your design. What will work best on the surface of our moon? Will your building have corners or will it be shaped like a dome? How will you protect the astronauts from the sun?
