OCTOBER 2022
Last October, several activities were held at our school, IES Sancti Petri, to celebrate ErasmusDays. ErasmusDays is a European celebration campaign that highlights the benefits of Europe by promoting the projects of the European Union's Erasmus+ program, engaging the educational community, stakeholders, and the public in general.
The first activity, titled “Tell Me About Your Erasmus,” consisted of a talk in which several Vocational Education students, who undertook internships abroad during the 2021-2022 academic year through Erasmus+ scholarships, participated. These students shared their Erasmus+ experiences, what they learned, the challenges they faced, and how this experience has changed their lives. This talk was part of an informational session for students interested in participating in Erasmus mobilities during the current 2022-2023 academic year. Students had the opportunity to hear firsthand testimonies from their peers and ask them various questions.
The second activity, titled “Why Do I Want to Go on Erasmus?” was an online real-time survey in which Vocational Education students were asked about their expectations regarding Erasmus+ mobilities. These students explained why they were interested in participating in an Erasmus mobility, in which countries they would like to do it, how they envisioned the experience, and more.
OCTOBER 2023
Last October, as part of the Erasmus Days 2023 celebrations, our school held a contest to select the AI-generated image that best represented the values of the Erasmus+ program. We received many incredibly interesting and creative images from our students, and among all of them, the winning entry was submitted by Ana Sánchez Melero, a second-year Clinical Laboratory student. The contest winner and all the students who submitted images received a gift for their participation.
In this link, you can see all the images that our students submitted for the contest.
As an activity to celebrate Erasmus Days 2023, we asked our Vocational Education students who had participated in Erasmus+ mobilities in previous years to share their experience in a 1-2 minute video. These videos allow other students to learn about the Erasmus Program through the experiences of their peers from our school. Here is a video from the student María Bulpe, who completed a mobility in Lisbon, Portugal, last year.
