During this term, students from 3rd and 4th year of ESO took part in a bilingual English activity led by the theatre company Shadow Tales. The company offered a dynamic and engaging experience through three different performances: theatre, magic, and musical theatre.
The shows combined various artistic disciplines such as storytelling, visual effects, music, and performance, creating an immersive environment where students could experience English in a fun and meaningful way. This type of activity promotes active learning, as students are exposed to the language in real communicative contexts while enjoying a live performance.
The activity aimed to reinforce students’ listening skills and comprehension, as well as to increase their motivation towards learning English. By integrating entertainment with education, the performances helped students connect language learning with creativity and real-life use.
Overall, it was a highly enriching experience that allowed students to learn English outside the traditional classroom setting, encouraging participation, attention, and cultural appreciation.
