Between July 24 and 29 last summer, our teacher José María Vidal Vargas attended a course within the Erasmus + program entitled "English Language Course", Budapest (Hungary).
The main objective of this course was to improve the participants' English skills, in addition to providing greater cultural enrichment of the values promoted by the European Union.
The teacher who taught this course is called Edit Király. She is Hungarian, has studied English philology and is married to an Englishman, so she knows the language perfectly.
Five of these six days took place inside the classroom with a group made up of about ten students of different nationalities, among which Spanish and Italian predominated.
The classes are characterized by reviewing aspects of the English language related to B2. Most of the activities encouraged the use of speaking, combining it with the use of applications such as Kahoot.
On the other hand, it wasn't all about being in class. Another day they had an excursion to a town called Szentendre where they were able to see the main monuments of this place. This small tourist town is located less than 1 hour from Budapest and a visit is highly recommended due to its rich heritage. In addition, it also allows you to see different landscapes of the Danube River.
In conclusion, the experience of this course has been very positive for him because it has allowed him to improve his level of English and get to know a city as diverse and culturally rich as Budapest.
To summarize the week, our colleague José María made a diary to be able to teach the rest of the teachers and the educational community everything he learned during this course.
