I-Ready Reading and Math

Regina Junior High School offers courses to supplement a student's learning in the areas of reading and math.  I-Ready is a computer course that assists students to identify the areas where they have already met their goals, while designing lessons to specifically target areas that need growth.  Regina recommends students for eligibility based on test scores, previous supports, and/or teacher or parent recommendation. These courses are available for 7th and 8th grade students and can be done in school and at home.  The teacher and the student work together to make achievable goals.  Students could see a 1-3 grade level improvement, when the student uses the program effectively.
