Use any two (or greater) digit number, then reverse those numbers and add them together. If that is not a palindrome (which it won't be if any regrouping is involved)(which also is a good question to ask about the times when palindromes aren't formed) then reverse that sum and add those numbers together. Repeat this process and eventually you'll arrive at a palindrome number. Unless, that is, you happen to hit an unusual number such as 89 (which takes a couple of dozen repetitions of reversing and adding) or worse, 196 which may not work at all. Usually I find that you get a palindrome by 5 or 6 tries.
