Use the Compositional Elements to take photos of the following: Remember to come back to class with at least 5 minutes left - DO NOT LEAVE CAMPUS
Some of these items are straight forward, others are abstract ideas. The last section is all abstract, you must decide which compositional element (not center of interest!) can best represent the idea for the photograph.
Some of the items will require 2 or more photos to demonstrate the compositional element.
Using Distance (two pictures of each), take pictures of:
the inside of the messiest locker you can find
a food item
an animal
flowers
Using Depth, take pictures of:
flowers
the oldest person you can find
something pink
a statue
Using Angle (two or more pictures of each), take pictures of:
a human pyramid of 6 or more people
a messy teacher desk
a smell
fear
Using Framing, take pictures of:
the City High Dome
a relaxing place
silence
stairs
Using Leading Lines, take pictures of:
an out of state license plate
speed
landscape
eyes
Using Repetition, take pictures of:
a group
something soft
shoes
something hard
Using your choice of Compositional Element, take pictures of:
the morning
nature
hands
memory
broken
love
