Growing up... with Nature
"If there is for humanity a hope of salvation and help, this help can only come from the child, because man is built in him". Maria Montessori

Children participating in the project, during the “ New European Bauhaus”, will be involved in a path based on sustainability, to refine their knowledge and respect for the environment that surrounds them and to virtuous practices and behaviors that can protect biodiversity, starting with small gestures that can be replicated in daily life and creating a beautiful, sustainable and inclusive learning environment.
Children will be involved in activities, not only to co-design the physical setting of the school, but also to make it a space in which their values can be reflected to become better adults and to increase their awareness of the treasures of nature by creating a bond between man and the environment. The space outside the school, outdoors, is no longer intended only for recreation but becomes a learning space.
The final objective is to arrive at understanding and considering the natural environment as a daily educational environment linked to the educational experience, connected to what is done inside, inserted in the daily didactic and educational planning and routine.
Applying this educational style means combining concrete experiences, made outdoors, with moments of theoretical reflection (narration, conversation) and final production (graphic, plastic, verbal) made before and after the activities.
