We visited the harbour

We paid a visit to the largest Orthodox church in Western Europe, Upenski Cathedral built in 1868 as a Russian Orthodox church, now it serves the Finnish Orthodox community.

We climbed the steep steps leading up to Helsinki's most iconic building, the gleaming-white Helsinki Cathedral (1852) with an amazingly austere inside décor.
