LIBRARY FAQs
The library provides the following services to students, faculty, and staff of iACADEMY:
1. Reference Questions (Ask the Librarian) and Circulation Services
The following form of reference and circulation services are rendered by the librarians:
⮚ Guidance in the choice of books
⮚ Guidance in the location of library materials
⮚ Readers advisory service
⮚ Answering reference questions
⮚ Formal and informal instruction on how to use the library reference sources
2. Research Assistance (Referral letters)
Students can request a Referral Letter from the Librarian to do research in other libraries.
Note: Request for referral letter must be done two (2) days before the actual date of visit.
- Referral letter should be claimed by one of the members who requested a referral. A maximum of 5 researchers per library/institution are allowed per day, however, the number of researchers to be accommodated is subject to the discretion of the library/institution concerned.
3. Current Awareness Services (CAS)
This service is to generate lists of recently acquired and processed books, including an eBook & e-journals from EBSCOhost and a print book from the iACADEMY Library, which will be posted by NeoLMS College and Senior High School Academic Group.
4. Library Instruction
The library instruction is usually given during the first month of the first semester to first-year college students and 11th graders, and transfer students. New students are given an overview of the library services."

You can also download and save eBooks from Library EBSCO Database, the Librarian will email your user account or email us at lib@iacademy.edu.ph for details.
EBSCO is a paid library database subscription of iACADEMY and the leading provider of research databases, e-journals, magazines, ebooks and discovery service among libraries. With 200,000 ready ebooks that are downloadable, peer-reviewed articles from 2,700 publications, access to dissertations and abstracts , and finally with mobile application.

Students can view the theses titles at the Online Library Portal, visit https://portalv2.iacademy.edu.ph/#/, log in using your domain account. To view the theses abstracts, email your request to lib@iacademy.edu.ph.
Yes, we still encouraged our students to borrow our library books. Go to our Online Public Access Catalaog (OPAC) at https://portalv2.iacademy.edu.ph/#/ browse and choose the books that you will borrow.. The librarian will send a confirmation email about your book reservation. After receiving the confirmation email, please inform the librarian if the book will be picked-up by the borrower, by a representative or by a courier service. Cut-off of email for book reservation is every Tuesday and the processing of these items for shipping preparation is every Thursday only.
You may borrow three (3) books for a period of one month.
Due to health protocols prescribed by iACADEMY, students are not allowed to go to iACADEMY. We highly encouraged our students to return or picked-up the books via a courier service. Please coordinate to Librarians on the following emails:

Fines and penalties are charged for overdue library materials. Borrowers with delinquent library accounts will be reminded thru iACADEMY e-mail.
- An overdue fine of Php 5.00 per day will be charged to the borrower if materials are not returned on time. Saturday, Sunday, Holidays, and even class suspensions are excluded from the fine computation.
You may access our wide range of reference materials (Print books, e-Books, e-Journals, e-Resources, and Theses titles) through the Online Library Portal to check the materials that may be helpful for your study/research.
The iACADEMY Library is open from Mondays to Fridays, 8 AM to 6 PM, and Saturdays 8AM to 5 PM.
All research and Theses materials are for Library Use Only.
No. At the meantime, we are still looking for printing concessionaire that would provide photocopying and printing services.
