Classroom Routines in Class 4
On arrival to class at 8.55 a.m.:
On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday pupils will be expected to sit down with their reading books
On Thursdays they will choose a book from the class library to read
Fridays they will read a Welsh book.
Playtime 10:30 - 10:45am
Lunchtime 12:00 - 1:00pm
School ends at 3.15 p.m.
Daily general timetable
Whole school assemblies are held every Monday and Friday morning in the hall.
A Discoverers assembly is held every Thursday.
We have literacy and numeracy lessons daily, with maths problem solving on a Friday.
Every Thursday afternoon we have P.E.
Phonics sessions in groups are usually on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 11.30a.m.
Equipment
It would be helpful if each child could bring their own equipment in a pencil case, to include: a pencil, a rub- out pen (black or blue ink.), colouring pencils, sharpener, rubber, ruler and a glue stick.
A bag containing P.E kit appropriate to the time of year. (trainers are preferable to pumps.)
A clear water bottle with sports cap, so they can stay hydrated throughout the day.
Wear P.E kit to school every Thursday
Plain black or grey jogging suit, House colour plain t- shirt (green, red or royal blue) and trainers.
