At Our Lady of the Angels Primary School, we are committed to supporting every child’s learning both in school and at home. Two key digital tools help us do this effectively: Hwb and Google Classroom. These platforms give pupils safe, easy access to high‑quality learning resources and allow families to stay connected with what children are learning.

What is Hwb?

Hwb is Wales’ national digital learning platform, provided by the Welsh Government to all maintained schools. It offers pupils, teachers, and families a secure, bilingual space filled with online tools, high‑quality resources, and learning support.

Key benefits of Hwb include:

• A single, secure login for accessing a wide range of digital tools and learning materials.

• Free access to popular learning platforms, including Microsoft 365, Google for Education, and other classroom tools that support children’s learning across the curriculum.

• A rich library of educational resources, from interactive learning materials to curriculum-linked activities, all designed to help children learn safely and independently.

• Flexible access anywhere, anytime, supporting learning at home as well as in school.

Your child will use their Hwb login details (provided by school) to access these tools. We encourage parents to explore Hwb alongside their children to discover the wide range of resources available.
