Applications for Nursery 2027 Places are Open!
Google Classroom is an online learning space where teachers share classwork, activities, announcements, and learning materials in an organised and child‑friendly way. It helps streamline communication between home and school while giving pupils a simple way to access and submit their work
Google Classroom works on laptops, tablets, and smartphones, making it easy for families to support learning wherever they are.
Through Google Classroom, teachers can:
Create and manage classes
Share assignments, announcements, and questions in the class stream
Track who has completed work and provide feedback when needed
Make sure your child is signed in with their Hwb account:
Click on the profile picture in Google Classroom
Switch from any personal account to the Hwb account if necessary
In most cases, your child’s account will already be added to the correct classroom. There are apps available for Google tools, so your child can log in directly if they have their own device. If the device is shared, remind them to log out after use.
A class code is not required - please ensure your child is signed in to Google Classroom using their Hwb account and not a personal Google account:
Open Google Classroom.
Click on the profile picture in the top corner.
Check that your child is signed in with their Hwb account and switch accounts if necessary.
Once signed in correctly, your child's classroom should automatically appear if they have already been added by their teacher.
If you need a reminder of your child’s Hwb login details, please complete this form.
