Year 5 has shown real maturity and resilience over Term 2 and Miss Gott and I are extremely proud of them. They have completed some excellent work on the Maya as part of our inquiry. The character descriptions that were completed, based on our class text, showed excellent progress in the quality of writing across the class.
Mr Paton has been very impressed by the hockey skills shown during P.E and is looking forward to forming a team for inter - school hockey competitions in the future.
Thunberg class have excelled at being researchers, designing Google forms to conduct market research and using their results to determine the design of their chocolate bars and wrappers - the motivation and use of Computing skills that was shown were outstanding and a real credit to the pupils and their computing knowledge.
May I thank all of the families of Thunberg class for their support over the last term. Miss Gott and I look forward to a more settled term going forward, where the progress that Thunberg are making combined with their positive behaviour for learning will inevitably lead to a fun and stimulating term for the pupils and we look forward to sharing our learning with you.
Miss Gott and I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and we look forward to working with you all in 2023!
