Zones of Regulation
Last module we shared the whole-school introduction of the Zones of Regulation. This module we have further developed our knowledge of the different coloured zones and considered the behaviours we show when we feel each of the emotions. We are pleased to share some of the children's learning from this module.
Blue Zone: Feeling sad, tired, or bored.
Green Zone: Feeling happy, calm, and focused.
Yellow Zone: Feeling worried, frustrated, or excited.
Red Zone: Feeling angry, out of control, or overwhelmed.
If you would like to know more about the Zones of Regulation please speak to Mr Patterson (SENCo), Mrs Chandler (Vice Principal) and Miss Murrells (Pastoral Support Manager)
Cloud watching can be a great way to find some inner calm, take some time out and enjoy nature.
Find a safe place outside in the fresh air. Lie on your back with the clouds above you. Do the clouds make any familiar shapes? You may see animals with ears or tails or maybe a plant or dinosaur appear in the sky, let your imagination decide.
