Community Project
We are pleased to share that our community project led by Miss Murrells (Pastoral Support Manager) started this module and will continue into Module 6. This is a special small group community project, designed to be fun and develop pupils' self-esteem and confidence. This project specifically focuses on developing key attributes from the International Baccalaureate (IB) Learner Profile, alongside fostering positive community connections.
A significant aspect of this project is the opportunity for the children to interact with our local Police Community Support Officer, Holly Wilkes and her team. The children have already gained insights into the vital role of the PCSO within our community and cultivated positive relationships with Holly and her team.
Activities the children have already participated in are:
Community First Aid Training
Learning about the role of the PCSO and a Police Constable
Exploring the positive role we can all have on making Hoo a safe and welcoming place to live.
The activities have already begun to nurture the children's inquiry, thinking, communication, caring and reflective skills and we can not wait to see their finalised ideas for the children's community campaign that promotes ways we can better the Hoo community.

Exploring what is it like to be a Police Officer.

Coffee Morning
We'd be absolutely delighted if you could join us for our very first Coffee Morning here at The Hundred of Hoo Academy Primary! It's a wonderful opportunity to come into school for a relaxed chat with our Pastoral Team over a warm cup of tea and some biscuits.
We're also incredibly fortunate to have a special guest joining us from Green Doctor. They will be sharing valuable information, advice and practical actions you can take to improve energy efficiency at home. It's a fantastic chance to learn some helpful tips and potentially save on your energy bills.
In addition, we'll be hosting our school uniform bank. This will be a great opportunity to browse our selection of good quality, second-hand uniform items, completely free of charge.
We believe this Coffee Morning will be a valuable and enjoyable experience for everyone. It's a chance to connect with the school community and gain some useful information.
We look forward to welcoming you on Tuesday 3rd June at 09:00 in the Design and Technology Room.
